Wow, it’s been a while!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first fully English blog post. Since I started working at Dusit Digital Lab under Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, I’ve had many opportunities to experiment and grow. One of the things I love most about this journey is how much it has helped me improve my English skills. While I’m not fluent yet, looking back at last year, I can see significant progress.

Today, I’d like to share some thoughts on evaluating the people who work under your leadership and the responsibilities that come with it. This experience has taught me that the role of a leader isn’t something we can impose on someone else.

It became clear to me when I realized, “Not everyone needs to be a leader.” In a recent discussion with my supervisor, he emphasized that everyone has their own unique skills. It’s our job to highlight and support what they excel at, rather than forcing them into a leadership role.

In conclusion, leadership is not a one-size-fits-all role, and it’s important to recognize that success can take many forms. By understanding and appreciating the diverse strengths of each team member, we can build a more supportive and effective team. Encouraging people to thrive in their own areas of expertise not only benefits the individual but also enhances the overall performance of the team. Sometimes, the best leadership comes from those who know how to follow, collaborate, and contribute in ways that go beyond traditional leadership roles.
